Today on Tim’s Vinyl Confessions, we deep dive into the new (final?) Mr. Big album called Ten. Shockingly, it’s their tenth studio album. I know, right? It’s also a few firsts: the first album with no songwriting from bassist Billy Sheehan, and debut Mr. Big album for new drummer Nick D’Virgilio. It has been eight long years since their last album, Defying Gravity, which wasn’t bad at all. Did they top it? Did they go out on a good note?
My written review will go up tomorrow.

So you did a show and then post a review. Taking the easy route!! LOL!! Oh wait, I’ll be doing the same this weekend…forget what I said.

Yeah it seems most readers don’t watch the video reviews, and ask for written ones, so that is what I did. I have done it every time with the exception of two albums:
1. Neal Schon – Journey Through Time. As a 4 disc set, it would take about 3 weekends for me to write it up.
2. Def Leppard – Drastic Symphonies. I have no plans to play this CD or expend any more energy on it. The video review was good enough if not better.

I’ve got the Drastic Symphonies still to do but still have a number of months before I have to break that one out.

I tried playing some of it last weekend. One song was all I finished. Refusing to review it is all the statement I need, plus people can suck it up and watch the video review instead!
