I can’t set my hopes THAT high. But I loved The Force Awakens, so I really am optimistic regardless.

I try not to have too many hopes or expcectations as a protective device! (But I’m so hoping that they do give Luke some hard won wisdom and gravitas without making him too flipping po-faced and Duddley Do-right).

I certainly get that vibe from this trailer. I understand about not wanting to have too many expectations. My feeling just from this trailer is that Luke is now on a Yoda-like level, which I certainly admit that I hope to see :)

Last one rehashed A New Hope, this one oughta rehash Empire. Rey coming out of a cave, upset? Luke is now Yoda, teaching her? I wonder if Lando will sell someone out in some way…
Also, I’m not buying it when Luke says the Jedi must end. He’s probably just in a downer ‘cos he’s been stuck on that island all this time. Betcha Rey talks him out of it or does something to prove him wrong…

I have high hopes for this one. The enthusiasm was dimmed a bit due to the, eh, plagiarism of The Force Awakens, but Rogue One renewed the enthusiasm.
The poster is shocking, though.
