We had one downtown. For many years it was the best store in town. In the old days I would walk to get there. Over an hours walk.

It was a special occasion to go to Sam’s. We saved our money to go. When you got there, there would always be 12″ singles by so many bands…and I could only afford two at a time. So many records I missed! ZZ Top, a lot of old ZZ Top singles.
