This is a great example of what made the Power Hour special. It was an hour of live television. That means when Dan Gallagher (always) refers to Anthrax as “Anthrash”, then it goes out live like that.
Queensryche were in Toronto promoting their then-new Empire CD. Geoff was sick, so Michael and Chris visited the MuchMusic studios. They co-hosted the hour with Dan and did a damn fine job of it. Ladies and gentlemen, Chris DeGarmo and Michael Wilton: Queensryche!
So many AC/DC references! What CD is that????

That is the CD single for Thunderstruck! And I believe it had a non-album track on it. Snake Eye maybe?

It may have been a promo version, that is never quite clear.

It is a promo version with only Thunderstruck on it as far as I can tell.

It sure does look cool. I’d get it if I saw it in the wild.

Stuff like this is the reason why I always check the AC/DC section in every store!

I should start doing that. I never do, because I “have all of them”.

Keep at it! Leave the unusual stuff for me to find!

Ever find bootlegs? At this point, with me owning the AC/DC box set, I no longer need singles.

Yep. There is a surprising amount out there now. Even Walmart carries them. The very in quality but usually the ones recorded for radio are decent.

Man I looked it up and Dan Gallagher died in 2001, I hadn’t realized it had been that long!

How old was he? Not that old I’m sure. Younger than I am now I’m sure.
