A long show with lots of visuals tonight, and an absolute treat for fans of robots in disguise! For those of you who joined Rob Daniels, Harrison the Mad Metal Man and myself — thank you! From the early Japanese origins, up to the present day, we took you on a guided tour of the Transformers brand. Plenty of vintage and modern toys on display, and genuine toy ads from back in the day too. (Facebook copyright strike — they killed the stream. Sorry about that, but you can still watch on YouTube.)
Show format: the first hour and 15 minutes are a history lesson. The lists begin then! Three lists, 15 picks, and no repeat!
This was an absolute blast. Thanks for watching.
An hour and fifteen minute history lesson on Transformers? This should be good!

I think it was honestly! Rob had show & tell, Harrison had show & tell, and I had more than enough for all three of us! Really comprehensive. We touched on just about every aspect of Transformers that you can think of.

Plus I got to do my Cobra Commander voice when we’re discussing the 1986 era.

I’d ask what a Cobra Commander is, but I’ll just have to watch the show to find out.

Cobra Commander from GI Joe was voice by the late, great Chris Latta – always imitated, never duplicated.

Maybe it’s because of the video you showed me but his voice sounds annoying and I can imagine him sucking his thumb because of how whiny he is.

That sums up Cobra Commander pretty good!

Oh ok, good. I didn’t want to sound too harsh since the character and GI Joe seems important to you, but that’s what Cobra Commander sounded like to me.

The man had good acting skills, then.
