There were three of you, aged 17-20. You were playing some kind of flashy game on your phones. It was causing my epileptic wife distress. She asked you to stop. She told you she had epilepsy and could have a seizure. What did you do? You angled your phones at her, and she had a seizure.
That’s assault.
You are lucky my wife does not want to call the police.
You are lucky I was not present, or I would have called the police.
Consider yourselves very fortunate today.

That is awful. During a medical issue, what happens to the bus. Is the driver required to pull over and call 911?
They would have needed 4 ambulances if I had been riding that bus.

The driver saw nothing, and GRT says we have to call the police, which Jen doesn’t want to do. She’s tired of this.

How about a news outlet get wind of it? Make the public aware of the dangers epileptic people face everyday. Those who do not know better take it for granted.

Is there a local group that has meetings/therapy/help for people that have seizures? Just curious. I have a relative that has seizures. Mostly stress related.

No. She has other support groups locally that help. She has a million suppport groups. We need more awareness — I will probably do something about that.

I figured you put that Priest song on since you were mad at those teens. But I never thought about the lyrics in an epileptic context. “..blinding light, flashing colors, sleepless nights…”

Good call. Amazing how sometimes the lyrics line up, unintentionally.
