David Coverdale has been remix-happy of late. Nothing wrong with that, I just have a hard time overcoming my passion for original versions of songs that I spent time living and loving for many years. Obviously I can’t have too much issue with it if I keep throwing money at him. Thank you Encore Records for holding this pricey item for me. $60 for 2 CDs and a Blu-ray disc. Details in the scans below, along with images of my other related Whitesnake discs.
Enjoy the video below, taking a gander at all the different colours of Whitesnake!

Excellent, Mike! I don’t think I have the live album (“Purple Tour”) – I should check that out. The archival material on the new Gold edition sounds interesting too. Henry

I still need to get Purple on vinyl. I have the other colors on vinyl and they are stunning.

I get it. Do you ever play them? I have not yet played the colour albums from start to finish.

I played them from start to finish several times for the reviews I did. Haven’t listened to the since.

Hah. Yeah that’s understandable. Good on your for reviewing all three. It must have been mind numbing trying to compare the remixes to the originals, for three whole CDs.

I don’t think I went to deep because it would’ve been a detailed review and mind-numbing for sure.

With the Purple stuff, I doubt I will even be able to hear a difference without digging in on purpose to do so. Don’t expect a full review. LOL
