I am really sad as well. I met him a few times at Helix shows. He really seemed to enjoy what he was doing, and was gracious to fans from what I saw. He really seemed to light up when I showed him my Live At The Marquee album. I recently got a vinyl copy of Starchild and was hoping he would sign it the next time I saw him. Oh well.
He was tough enough to survive falling off a roof, but unfortunately it looks like cancer caught up to him. FYC!!!!
Thanks for posting this Mike, and go play some Fritz songs. I hope you’re doing OK.

I only met him the one time, but he gladly signed my stuff and posed for a photo. That was more than enough!
He was a tough old boot and he was immensely fun to watch.

Actually, I’m surprised we got this far into 2024 before we had the first rock passing. It must have been great seeing him play live. Rest in peace Fritz.
