  1. I never know whether to feel relieved or completely left out that I have never had any weird search words or phrases on my blog. I faithfully check to see if there is anything that will lead to an interesting blog post. Aside from the occasional weirdo follower, all remains quiet.

  2. Haha this is great! My funniest was probably “70’s music for twerking”, but none of my search terms are as funny as yours. Can’t tell if that’s a good thing or a bad thing…

      1. I don’t know! I think they found my site because I had an article where I compared 70’s disco dancing to today’s twerking fad. It was the first article I ever wrote, I think.

  3. The search terms that most often lead to my blog are “Mark Hamill’s face” and “Bradyn Fuksa found.” I get dozens of hits a day on both of these terms, which is profoundly ironic because we really don’t know what happened to Mark Hamill’s face (and it was nearly 40 years ago), and Bradyn Fuksa is still missing.

    1. Really? Mark Hammill’s face? Have you ever talked about Mr. Hammill?

If I recall the story from when I was a kid, Mark Hammill had a bad car accident after Star Wars and had to have plastic surgery. That’s why Luke looks so different.

        1. Interesting, I enjoyed that! I guess that tells you something. You need to post more on Star Wars related legends. Perhaps Harrison’s recent leg injury will be future fodder!

      1. True, I’ve never lived there. I have been there in the winter many times and it’s an exciting place then. The highway is closed many times through the winter, so I could see it sucking from December to April…

I dunno. Depends on what your expectations for a home town are, what you think you need to survive. PE seems to have everything you need, per se, but for young people maybe it’s a drag. Nothing to do but get drunk, high and have sex? I just don’t know. I grew up in a town of 300 people, we had to drive 20 minutes to the bigger town for absolutely everything (except gas), so I find it fairly hard to complain about lack of services, if I’m being totally honest. I may complain about my current town sometimes, but it’s way bigger than PE and has more than we need to survive. Again, just depends what you’re after.

One strike against PE, though, is a current lack of record store. That’d suck. But BMTS operates over there, so the internet could save your musical life.

        1. The lack of record stores really drove me crazy as a teenager and guy in my 20’s. Summers there had to be pre-planned with music I already owned. However as you said, the internet has changed everything. Anyone with an address and a credit card can have anything they like.

        1. Bruce Nuclear maybe? The growth around our little cottage has been huge. Entire subdivisions where there was nothing but bush 20 years ago.
