While I can imagine Dave singing a version of “Why Can’t This Be Love” and turning into something he could stomach, I just can’t say the same of “Love Walks In”.

Just imagine the Oberheim keyboard, every ’80s lyrical “can do/love” cliche mixed with alien abduction stories with Eddie riffing over it. That’s 5150.

My view has always been that out of the split came too great albums 5150 and Eat ’em and Smile. 5150 is one of my favorite summer albums. What are some of yours?
