  1. Thanks everyone!

Wayne I have more Johnny content coming later today so hold on tight!

The wife and I listened to the CD again yesterday. I have many regrets, such as allowing Lit to be on that CD instead of my Frank Zappa track (Peaches en Regalia) but I did get my Darkness and Kiss songs!

I also would remove the Time Warp and replaced it with my Styx song (The Best of Times).

This CD was sort of a “greatest hits” of the evening that we gave to all the guests.

  2. …..I thought you would have put Life In The Fast Lane by the Eagles on there!

    1. Thanks! The Harrison was a surprise happenstance. Somebody downloaded the wrong version. I believe the one we used was on Anthology 3. I’m not 100% sure what the version is, but it was just George and a guitar.

  3. It’s been an interesting five years, and I love you more and more every day. Lit was there because it was the SONG of the maid of honour (she once played it exclusively for an 8 hour shift in a video store – just cause she could) and the Time Warp was for the girls that I rocked with in high school (back in the day we were goth beauties – RHPS was standard practice.)

In my life was played a few times in the evening, the Johnny version for you signing half your CD collection to me, instrumental version for dinner and I walked into the church to the Beatles version. (LeBrain wouldn’t let me put three versions on our thank you CD-card -due to my many choices already.)

I’m just glad our music didn’t include any Katie Perry or other crap that makes most rockers puke.

    1. I for one am just impressed that you didn’t know how to spell “Katy Perry” and I mean that as a compliment. It’s proof we don’t have any in our house!

      Love ya.

      1. It isn’t the Katy Perry stuff you should fear, it is the Avril collection. I wonder if now it expands to include Nickleback…

  4. Congrats, man! You guys look so happy. Incidentally, my friend from Guelph got married in the same dress that your wife wore! She is obsessed with blue – and the unique blue band on the dress was what drew my attention!

My husband and I also had a wedding CD – and it also had You Shook Me…from AC/DC, and My Own Worst Enemy. Fine choices!

  5. Since you mentioned it, I did all the music for our wedding, too. Had lots of fun picking tracks from the whole of our time together, and in various provinces, and many other good songs that fit. I distilled the 6 CDs down to 1 final mix and we gave it to the wedding party, the parents, that sort of thing. My lovely wife did the cover, including her favourite Chagall painting and some fun personal stuff.

We didn’t have AC/DC on ours, though. Well, we’re coming up on 10 years on September 21, so maybe it’s time to make another CD.

    1. WOW that sounds like a tremendous amount of work but well worth it. I’m assuming you still have the original 6 CDs? May as well do an anniversary mix! Add in some kids tunes to reflect where you are today!
