According to Blabbermouth:
QUIET RIOT has “amicably” parted ways with singer Scott Vokoun and has replaced him with LOVE/HATE vocalist Jizzy Pearl. Pearl will make his live debut with QUIET RIOT on New Year’s Eve (December 31) in Flagstaff, Arizona. QUIET RIOT is currently in the recording studio with Jizzy in preparation for the release of a new album in early 2014.
Five words for you:

I’m hoping so man. I’m not sure what Jizzy brings to the table, certainly a “name” but his voice is not something I’d describe as Quiet Riot-like. Then again Paul Shortino was awesome in Quiet Riot.

Yeah, the Shortino record was great, but then again, Shortino’s voice can save anything.

First time I heard Shortino: Hear N’ Aid! You?

Me too. He owned that song.

You know what bothered me Jon? Remember how Shortino was wearing the white hat in that video? My friends and I had NO IDEA WHAT THE GUY LOOKED LIKE. We just knew we liked it!

Yeah, me too. I remember the first time I saw a pic of the guy. “Aha, that’s how he looks…”.
Then again, I had seen him in the Spinal Tap movie, but back then I had no clue of who he was.

Duke Fame! I often forget about that cameo. Easy to forget when the film is loaded with stars. Billy Crystal : mime is money!

I know nothing about this person, but I admire his sense of humour. Jizzy Pearl. Hahahahahaaaaa.

I know! The bass player of Love/Hate originally went by the name “Skid Rose”.

I’m sorry Mike, Quiet Riot jumped the shark with the 2nd Slade cover.

Hahah! No I agree with you actually, Mama Weer All Crazee Now. But I loved the band so much as I kid I stuck to it for loyalty. The First Metal Band I Ever Liked.

My tastes run more to 70’s Prog than they do to this kind of Metal. Still it has its place. In 1984. Good times. MTV baby. I wanna rock!!

Don’t know what you’re so upset about. Jizzy was the original singer of Quiet Riot along with Frankie Banali. The original drummer. Ahem.

Sorry I forgot that. I thought Geoff Tate was the original singer before he was replaced by Jizzy Pearl.

Well I’m sure the market can figure that one out!

Jizzy Pearl also sang with L.A. Guns and Ratt. Enuff already. Frankie Banali is a great drummer, but he shouldn’t have quit WASP in the first place. Quiet Riot died with Kevin DuBrow. Let it rest.

When he was with W.A.S.P. they ended up making their best albums. I’m sure a good hard rock band could use a drummer like Frankie today.

I, umm, loved Love/Hate – I also heard a solo thing Mr Pearl did and that was pretty good too. This strikes me as just a bit of a payday.

I like the first Love/Hate, with Blackout in the Red Room and Why Do You Think They Call It Dope. I just don’t hear it with Quiet Riot. When he was in Ratt, sure I could hear that. QR needs a belter.

I need to say that I think Wasted In American was such an underrated album. Blackout In The Red Room was better, but WIA needs some cred.

Is that the second one Jon?

Yup. I dunno if they ever released anything else. Oh yes, Let’s Rumble. Never listened to that one.

I know they’ve done plenty since then, or rather Jizzy has under the Love/Hate name. “Let’s Eat” and so forth.
