Looks like a good way to celebrate Canada Day to me. We are going to have nice thick steaks on the barbeque and red and white cupcakes for dessert. My flag is hanging on the front porch, I have little flags in my planters and I have red maples leaves with lights. I am all ready! Happy 150th Canada. We are fortunate to live in the best country in the world.
Where was this bbq held? Looks like a gut-busting time!
We spent some time down at the Strawberry Festival, then I bbqd some turkey burgs. We lit the fire pit and had some brews. Later, we watched the fireworks.
This was at work, right in one of the bays actually. They had tables all set up for the guys to eat. I was a server. I was on bacon duty! Everyone was worried we would run out of bacon. Well I made sure each guy got lots of bacon and we still had a few slices left. I was proud of that. LOL

(the website is a bit for shite, actually)
It’s still happening today. It was rammed yesterday, and people were even parked up our street, which hasn’t ever happened since moving here 11 yrs ago, but there is a lot happening. The food trucks are to die.

That’s awesome. I think all my flags are at the lake so I don’t have one to fly! I do not know what we are doing for supper tonight.
I’m sure Jen will be celebrating with baseball and bingo.

Thanks. Even bad weather at the beach is better than a clear day at work!
