They don’t call Harrison the Mad Metal Man for nothin’. It must be because he keeps sending me all these amazing parcels!
And now, Harrison has sent me a third parcel, with heavy metal, soundtracks, Lego and more.
Harrison has acquired some “upgrades” to some albums it seems, and has passed his original copies on to me. These are bands I have never checked out before, so let’s see if Harrison can win me over. There were also some cool soundtrack-y CDs for Robert Daniels (Visions In Sound) and, of course, some Lego. The saga of the Marvel Lego blindboxes continues!
Of note: I popped some bubble wrap for ya.

Harrison is too good to us! Speaking of bands we’ve never checked out before, I’ve recently been getting into Big Star for the first time and they’re worth the hype.

Is that…Australian music?

No, they’re a band from Memphis with Alex Chilton and Chris Bell. They made three records in the ’70s no one bought, but a bunch of people loved. A favorite of Cheap Trick.

Nice haul from Down Under. My step son would be very jealous of all the Sabbaton CDs.

Well Michael, if it turns out I don’t like them, maybe he can have them next!

Nice package from Harrison, Mike. Especially enjoyed the Legos. I’m a fan of She-Hulk’s TV series (and the original comics). Also, over the summer we did the opposite and got a Batcycle free with a Lego magazine in Germany to go with our two Batman figures (regular and Lego movie version). Henry.

Hey Henry! I thought She-Hulk was a nice change of pace, a comedy! I enjoyed Tim Roth in it very much, and while I did not like everything equally, I thought the meta-humour was spot on. I think a lot of these characters need to be merged with the main MCU characters in future films, before they are appreciated.
I should do a Batman-focused episode this October!

Well, I recognise Jet, at least! LOL.

Any feelings on Jet? As I alluded in the video, I was not a fan, but I’m willing to try the album for Harrison.

Don’t know them well, Mike. But they had a good following in the mid-00s. I bit Oasis, perhaps?
