  1. I can’t really comment on the movies and TV, but it’s good to see The Flaming Lips and Claypool Lennon Delirium In Meat’s Top 10 sounds. Tool didn’t move me at all, though.

  2. The Irishman below Captain Marvel? Ouch. Definitely not Scorsese’s best, but worse than smug Brie Larson?

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is my third favorite movie with Once Upon a Time in the title. Sergio Leone wins out twice. Hollywood was bloated and self-indulgent in these cynical eyes, but I’m glad you enjoyed it. There was some cool stuff, especially the ending. Tarantino really doubled down on the foot shots in this movie though. You’d think that now that he’s married he wouldn’t need so much footage of feet in his movies to jack off, he could just ask Mrs. Tarantino to slip off the socks and he would crank it all over her blouse.

    1. Meat and I saw Capt Marvel together and we both thought it was great, much better than Twitter suggested. There was one part where Brie Larson roared at a Skrull warrior and she won us both over with that. Lots of charisma. I saw two of her movies this year, Capt Marvel and Unicorn Store. I liked them both!

I have to get caught up on my Tarantino. The last one I saw was the WWII one, which bored me to tears. I didn’t know Quentin was married. I knew about the foot fetish though, it’s pretty hard to miss in Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown for sure!

      1. You didn’t like Inglorious Basterds [sic]? I thought it was pretty good, Pitt especially. Much more interesting than OUATIH. If you thought that one was boring, I doubt you’ll like The Hateful Eight or OUATIH. I liked Hateful Eight, but I’d definitely put it closer to the bottom of his filmography also.

Yeah, very obvious in Jackie Brown with the closeup of Bridget Fonda’s feet. She was pretty striking in that movie in that bikini the old time. Guess who married her?! Do you know who married her Harrison? One lucky son of a bitch, that’s for sure.

        1. Yeah he sure is one lucky bastard. I wonder how they crossed paths? She was a the hot surfer girl in that movie and I wondered how Sam Jackson kept his boner in his pants!

I need to catch up on my Quentin. Nothing kicked my ass like Kill Bill did, but I sure did enjoy Death Proof.

  3. Merry Xmas Uncle MEAT!
Barry was a good TV show I got right into it. The Irishmen as well. Best line of that movie is ‘Are you a Painter?” haha ‘Yes I’m a Painter’
Dream Theater almost made my Top 10 as well. Good album. The bonus track Viper King is is like Deep Purple on roids.

Have a Great Holiday and New Year Buddy.
    All the Best!
