    1. HAHA! I’ll take that as a compliment and I’m sure you intended it that way! But seriously, you should see Mitch Lafon’s stuff. He buys Japanese imports exclusively. He gets a lot of domestic stuff sent to him but the music he buys all comes from CD Japan. He’s into the bonus tracks, the packaging and the superior CD formats that the Japanese currently have — like the new “blu spec CD”.

Personally I can’t hear a sound difference. If there is one, my hearing isn’t good enough to detect it. So I’m in it for the bonus tracks.

        1. I love the Japanese lyric sheet. For example, Judas Priest’s Unleashed in the East. The lyric:

“Feeling like we’re ready to kick tonight,” has been mistranslated as:

“Feeling, rock queers, ready to kick tonight.”

        1. I wouldn’t count KMA just because I count it as something different — a tribute album. Technically you could say it’s a compilation, but not in the sense of a greatest hits by one artist.

That version rocks. And it took balls to open the song with Gene Simmons’ phone call advising them to pick another song.
