We love the Speed Champions, I don’t know much about scale, but we find them a fun challenge you can complete in a day. There are often weird building techniques though they do get repetitive.
Ah I see. However, you CAN fit two figs in them now, which is what I like a lot.
We tried filming a movie in the summer called the Adventures of Mike and Debbie, but in light of recent events I’ve been made aware of, I’m abandoning that movie.
Nice pics.

I never got to see it go at full speed. Look at that speedometer though! I never saw one that goes that high.

I don’t know if he ever had it out on a track and let it rip. I hope he did. It had a track-only red key to unlock the full power of the car.

So glad I found these photos!
I know we had planned on making a video, with lots of engines revving, but we never got around to it.

Thanks Harrison. It would look sharp in Lego but the curves are a challenge.

Oh yeah, definitely. Curves are always problematic.

I guess that’s why a lot of those Lego cars are larger scale and often Technic.
I told you I bought a Technic remote control car?

Yes, I do recall that. It’s a shame about the scale up for Speed Champions. The scale between minifigures is a bit ridiculous now.

Oh they’re great and I love them, but the 8 stud wide ones are just difficult to work with for images because they dwarf the minifigures.

Oh you don’t have to. The other movie will be completely different and I wouldn’t want to be responsible for you abandoning a project.

It wasn’t very good.

What really quantifies ‘good art’. If you enjoyed making it then that’s all that matters.

I did and I didn’t, I wasn’t happy with the results.
