Laurie Brown talked to the Killer Dwarfs in rehearsal for their excellent fourth LP Dirty Weapons. Additionally you will hear a preview for a new song called “Nothing Gets Nothing” live in concert, plus some behind the scenes footage. The band talk about the music scene in Canada at the time (not good) and touring with Iron Maiden. “What Harry wants, Harry gets,” they tell us.
But the real reason you’re watching this video is to see Bruce Dickinson rip the pants right off Darrell Dwarf. It was the last night of the tour and therefore prank night! Enjoy seeing “all of Darrell” as the audience did that night!
JD Roberts of MuchMusic’s Pepsi Power Hour talked to Geoff Tate (and a silent Chris DeGarmo) about Queensryche in 1986. That means you get the rock-solid Rage for Order haircuts. Not only that… but Geoff actually comments on the hair!
Michael Williams hosted the Pepsi Power Hour this time and got to interview Lenny Wolf and James Kottak of Kingdom Come. He asks them about working with Bob Rock, their upcoming tour, the Zeppelin comparisons and all the stuff you want to know about. Lenny also brings up Stone Fury. I like to tell this story a lot; you may have heard it before. When Whitesnake played Toronto on the 1987 tour, my buddy Rob Vuckovich held up a sign that said “PLAY PURPLE”. David reportedly acknowledged the sign by saying, “We’ll be playing none of that!”
